Good News This Week for U.S. Employers/Sponsors of Foreign Workers!

The USCIS confirmed this week that it is no longer requiring duplicate copies of most Form I-129s (the form used for H-1B, L-1, and other common temporary work visa sponsorships). This is a USCIS procedural change we’ve been anxiously anticipating for years. Your H-1B petitions are about to look a lot smaller! Now, if we could just get the USCIS to allow electronic filing of these petitions in the first place, we could save a forest worth of trees each year.

AND

The USCIS extended COVID-19-related flexibilities, allowing them to consider a response received within 60 calendar days after the due date set forth in certain types of notices, including Requests for Evidence, Notices of Intent to Deny, Notices of Intent to Revoke, and more.
